The wardens and Christ Church vestry are please to announce our Interim Rector, the Rev. Lucretia W. Mann, Ph.D., who will start on October 1, 2024. The Rev. Mann will be coming from Fort Washington, MD, where she has served as an Interim Rector since 2023. Prior to her call to the ministry, Rev. Mann was a middle school and high school French and English teacher. In addition to her degrees in French and Education, Rev. Mann has both a master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical and Health Psychology. Rev. Mann was ordained in 2014. She has been as Assisting Priest at the Washington National Cathedral, a Supply Priest for the Episcopal Dioceses of Washington and Virginia, and most recently, the Interim Rector at St. John’s Episcopal Church Broad Creek, Ft. Washington, MD.
Rev. Mann’s hobbies include reading, ethnic and vegetarian cooking, and hospitality. Her interests include water activities, rescue dogs, music-both choral and early instrumental, Red Sox baseball, NCAA football, professional soccer and tennis, Winter Olympics, and building relationships with family and friends.
